I am sure you all have been watching diligently for this post. Well, here it goes...
I will be having brain surgery on Sept. 29th. Sounds like fun doesn't it?
We have a little bit more detail, but not all of our questions are answered. Some of those questions will not be answered until after surgery. The doctor still believes it is a lower grade tumor, but it does need to be removed.
I know you are all concerned and I understand. But I am very tired from today's news and events. I ask that you please hold off your calls until tomorrow. I will randomly check my blog throughout the night, so that is the best way to get a hold of me. Thank you so much for your prayers.

I missed seeing you today at St. Luke's. Are you going to be here for your surgery? Could I visit you? Praying for you.
They do not fear bad news. They confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly. Psalm 112:7
Hey ang, When can you have visitors? I am sorry that your tired. My thoughts are with you!
Father God this prayer is for your child Angie, you knew her before we did, and your love for her is greater than our love for her. God my prayer for Angie is that you wrap your loving arms around her and hold onto her so tight that she can feel your loving arms surrounding her at this time of her life. We know that only your glory will come from this time and trial. God, you are the mighty healer and this prayer is for the doctors that will be doing the surgery, may you guide their hands during this surgery.
Jeremiah 29:11-14 (NRSV)
For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart, I will let you find me, says the LORD, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.
God, thank you for what you going to do and i give you all the praise
Amen and AMen

Hi buddy. You are quite the trooper ya know it.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9
I hope that all others out there see the beauty that shines through you because you have faith in Jesus Christ. Honestly people- she was not without hope the day she found all of this out. Angie, I am so thankful that our Father in Heaven is sending out his angels concerning you... how amazing is that!?!? I have faith that it is true, my friend. Smile!! If this didn't make you smile maybe the fact that I almost fell into a trash can today will make you smile. My kiddos were quite amused. You would have liked it too... I seriously tried to bend down to tie a little kids shoe and I put my butt in the trash can.... and almost fell in!! hehe. OK- God bless, Angie Renee!
I am still thinking about you and praying for you Angie. It is OK that you feel the need to rest; that will prepare your body for next Friday. But also continue to rest in the Lord, as you have been doing, and prepare yourself for what He has ahead in your life. We are all believing in complete healing and a complete recovery for you!
Psalm 77:1-2; 10-14
1. I cried out to God for help; I cried out to God to hear me.
2. When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands and my soul refused to be comforted.
10. Then I thought, "To this I will appeal: the years of the right hand of the Most High."
11. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
12. I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
13. Your ways, O God, are holy. What god is so great as our God?
14. You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.
Your friend,

Watching things unfold from Springfield... Sept 29th is a Friday, and I have no class to teach or take. Hmmm... Hoping you are well, all things considered. Oh, Angie...
We continue to pray for you, precious one!
So glad it is low grade and that they can go after it. In the world of brain tumors that is TRULY TRULY good news. Already engaged in praying you through the surgery!
what are you doing sat night? i'm gonna be in ls. thought i might stop by...
Angie,
When I first heard the news it was shocking. Each of us takes a quick life assessment and realizes,"this could be me."
I am praying and know that God is healing you even now. This experience will "enlarge your territory" and increase your faith. Never something we would choose, but something you will know, without it, God could not get you where you're intended to go.
I am praying and believing with you.
Psalms 22:19
But you, O Lord be not far off; O my strength, come quickly to help me.
James 5:13a
Is anyone of you in trouble? He should pray. . .
5:14
Is anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and annoint him with the oil in the name of the Lord.
5:17
Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain. . .
5:16b
The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Angie,
I know how much you hate to be hugged (which makes me want to hug you all the more!)and I only wish I could give you one at this moment. You probably can't feel it right now, with all the questions and frustrations accompanying your frightening journey, but please know there are soooooo many people who are lifting you up in spirit through their thoughts, prayers, and yes...hugs.
My heart and hand go out to you and the Wilsons and all your family and friends. Keep your head up, your heart strong, and your spirit willed.
Much love to you,
Kerin Barthel
